WATER AND ENERGY SOLUTIONS

Many industrial processes require huge quantities of water which subsequently result in significant problems created by limescale formation. Many industrial processes carried out in soft water areas generate limescale deposits caused by the actual process itself.

Limescale is corrosive so costs can be incurred in premature replacement of expensive plant components and pipework.

​

Pump performance is significantly reduced when scale forms often requiring duplicate pump systems to be installed to reduce downtime when a pump needs to be cleaned or replaced.

​

Limescale formation in heat exchangers, water heaters and boilers will significantly increase the energy required to heat water. Typically, 1mm of limescale deposit on a heat exchanger will require up to 7% more energy to maintain the desired temperature. Energy usage in industry is exceptionally expensive and has a significant detrimental effect on net profit margins.

The AV system is non-invasive, rarely requiring any modifications to existing pipework. No system downtime is generally required allowing installation of the AV system with no interruption to normal business operations.

Design lifespan of the system is 20 years with no loss of performance throughout its operational lifetime.

Unlike our competitors there are no flow rate restrictions or limitations and pipes can be effectively treated from 15mm diameter up to 2 metres diameter.

The range of effective treatment on a system is typically up to 2km of pipe length.

Water retains its treated status for 7 days in static water ensuring that weekend closures of factories or plant do not have an adverse effect on the quality of water.

Working with our partners we can also offer non-invasive solutions to all heating plant (gas, oil and LPG) that will reduce energy consumption by typically 5%-15% with no loss of performance.
